YOSEMITE

Last month, we took a combined Spring Break/Isaiah's birthday celebration trip over to Yosemite. To state the obvious, it is absolutely beautiful. I have a feeling we'll be heading back soon...and often.

It was POURING near the falls. Also, check out that beard behind Shawn!

But the boys favorite part? Definitely the hotel pool and hot tub!

Eli took a break to make some important phone calls from the remote of the lift chair :-)

SLO & LOW

Over the weekend, we took our two biggest boys on a little mini-vacation to San Luis Obispo. We love that area. If we ever move away from Monterey County, I imagine it'll be because we've headed down that way.

The boys were crazy about the San Luis Obispo Children's Museum. I think we're going to have to get annual passes there.

They were also NUTS about the hotel spa! So nuts, in fact, that they've coerced us into getting one for our backyard :-)

Apart from the museum and the jacuzzi, we also had a blast visiting Morro Bay and Avila Beach. If you haven't spent time in SLO, you're missing out!

Farewell 2013

I know, I know...I'm a little late to the show on this look back, but things got a little thrown off schedule with the move and lack of computer access. So please forgive my belated 2013 retrospective :-)

2013 was a good year - one of new beginnings (the arrival of baby Elijah) and the end of an era (where I finally accepted that Michigan is no longer home for me).

I can't wait to see what 2014 has in store for us!
