HACIENDA HAY AND FEED

We took a trip over to the Hacienda Hay and Feed in Carmel the other day to hang out at their petting zoo. If you know me at all, you know that I'm absolutely obsessed with the idea of having a farm and I'm trying to pass that along to the kids...they were most interested in the store dog. Oh well! I'll keep trying.

Because I think it's awesome that they offer a free petting zoo and because I like to support small businesses, I wanted to make a purchase. I've wanted to try Mane 'n Tail (horse shampoo and conditioner) for a while because I've heard that it's great for people hair too. Now I'm hooked. I absolutely love it! Seriously - my hair has never felt better. Go to your local farm store and get some :-)

BODACIOUS BANGS

I love bangs - half of my Pinterest "Hair" board is devoted to examples of beautiful bangs. 

I'd given them a really half-hearted try a year or so ago and ended up giving up after about a week, so I decided to dive right in this go around. 

I'm not in love with the results, but it's a decent change of pace for now. 

** I didn't chop my hair all off; I just have it pulled back into a knot. **
