IT'S SO HARD TO SAY GOODBYE

Does that title make you start singing Boyz II Men? If so, you're welcome :-) If not, you are young.

Well, Grandma and Grandpa have left us for the Great Northern Wilds of Michigan. Here are some pictures from our last weekend together before they headed out.

Goodbye Grandma and Grandpa! We can't wait to see you again next winter! Enjoy that lovely Michigan weather :-)

HOT HOT HOT

Last week we were melting here in California. It was the perfect time for a beach day with friends. We headed to Marina State Beach with Jordan, Jade, and Santana.

LIFE LATELY

This photo is actually from a couple of weeks ago, but I'm always behind the camera so there aren't very many shots of me. I'll just throw this one in so you don't forget what I look like :-)
Isaiah found some fancy long black gloves and thought they would make excellent pants.
The boys commandeered the car and drove us to Toys R Us :-)
Bouncing is so exhausting.

We also recently headed to Marina State Beach - it's a beautiful beach and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The boys had fun building sand castles and playing Frisbee (thanks Daddy!).

We have gotta try this one day!

And we met up with Jordan & family at Papa Chano's in Sand City. This place has become our family go-to restaurant. So good! Plus it's casual enough that it's no big deal when the kids decide to have a dance show (like they did this time). Have I mentioned that my boys really like to dance?

Shawn was WAY too excited about his burrito.
The boys love little Jade - they call her "that cute baby girl."
