The boys love blocks. They can spend hours making block towers. Here they are with one of their creations:

They are also really, really into water these days - playing with the hose, sprinklers, Super Soakers, water balloons, etc. Here they are cooling off on a warm day:

 If you are a parent of young kids, you know that nearly every weekend is spent at friend's birthday parties. Here are some shots of the recent festivities:

Now that's a bite of cake! Also, please note that the little girl next to Noah is his "girlfriend." He recently told her mother that he's in love with her and will do anything she tells him to do. Isaiah also loves her. They're 3 and 4!!!

Jade and Santana (Jordan's kids) had a combined birthday party last weekend. He turned four and she turned two. Here are some pictures from the festivities:

 Noah rode a real horse for the first time. We may have a future equestrian on our hands (like his big cousin Rileigh):

When my parents were here, Shawn and I were able to go on THREE dates, which is totally unheard of since we've moved. Honestly, the first date was a little awkward (sort of like a real first date), but we slowly got re-adjusted to uninterrupted adult conversation by dates two and three. I think we'll try for that fourth date when Grandma and Grandpa visit again.

Date #1 - Thai in Pacific Grove (slightly awkward first date)

Date #2 - Really amazing Chinese at Full Moon in Monterey (much less awkward)

Shawn broke out his best senior picture poses for our third date (super good Indian food at Ambrosia in Monterey). Btw he may kill me for posting this - that last picture cracks me up.

Please forgive the lack of posts lately - I've been having some technical difficulties at the new house, but everything is now in order for me to finally start sharing pictures of life here in Monterey.

First of all, let's talk about how giddy in love with this area all of us are. It's ridiculous - we're all just head over heels about this place :-)

Here are some pictures of our first visit to Dennis the Menace Park. The boys had fun playing on the play-set, but they were crazy about the paddle boats. They can't wait to go back and do it all over again.

After the boat ride, we found a restaurant in Marina that had veggie Pho. Shawn was a very happy man. 

This picture cracks me up - Shawn looks so nice, but what is happening with Noah and Isaiah???

Don't worry - they lived to enjoy a delicious meal :-)
