BIG SUR & CARMEL

A year or two ago, I told my friend Meg that if I could choose to live anywhere I would choose to live in Big Sur. Well, now I live twenty minutes up the road, so I'll consider that a win :-)

Last weekend, after our trip to the museum, we headed out to Big Sur for a leisurely Sunday drive while the kids napped. It blows my mind that this is where we get to go for a Sunday drive.

Then we headed over to the beach in Carmel. 

Noah noticed that the tide was about to come in in a major way and took off running. Shawn had to pick up Siah and run for the hills too. Eek!
