HAPPY HALLOWEEN

This was the first year that all three of the boys could really appreciate how awesome Halloween is and we had SO MUCH FUN celebrating!

We kicked off the weekend with a parade at Noah's school.

Isaiah got into the spirit and threw on a ninja costume too.

The night of Halloween my little pirate, ninja, and ghoul were joined by their favorite neighborhood friend Joya and her sweet family for some Trick-or-Treating. And we discovered that our neighborhood goes all out for Halloween.

This house had creepy audio from Pycho playing and a mannequin sitting in the upstairs window looking like Norma Bates. The boys thought it was the coolest thing ever!

SWANK FARMS

We're deep in the midst of moving and renovating right now, but I thought I'd briefly resurface to share some pictures from our recent trip to Swank Farms. We had so much fun doing the corn maze, pumpkin throw, feeding goats, and bouncing at the bounce house. Oh how I love Fall!!

I'll try to get back to this space soon. Promise!

FORGOTTEN FALL

I'm usually in love with fall, but this year it seemed to speed by too quickly to fully appreciate it.

We didn't even get around to doing any of the standard Midwestern fall activities like going to the pumpkin patch, corn maze, or apple orchard. What a shame!

At any rate, here are some long over-due pictures from the little bits of fall that we did get to enjoy.

That Elusive Family Photo

We are still struggling to get a single decent family photo. Here's a look at some of our attempts from over the weekend. As you can see, it was a raging success.

At one point Noah tried jumping on my lap...and I ended up falling to the ground. Melissa, ever the picture of grace and coordination.

Oh well. We were missing Eli anyway.

Life Lately

Fun with corded phones (a novelty for the boys) found at a yard sale
Thanks Heather L.!
I am pretty much obsessed with this barn.
This was meant to be a picture with Noah, but he ducked out of the shot at the last moment...which leaves me posing with my arm around no one. Awkward!
